A Life Group is a small group of 10–15 people who meet each week or every other week to: Discuss and apply the weekend teaching Pray for one another Do life together Each group has a leader, and many also have an assistant leader. Life Groups meet throughout the greater Roseburg area during the school year. Some groups choose to share a simple meal or snacks together.

Life Groups are designed for those who call Redeemer's their home church, regularly attend a weekend service, and are committed to growing spiritually in community.

Life Groups are a great place to build godly relationships with others who call Redeemer's their home church. These smaller communities provide opportunities to grow in faith together, have fun together, and serve together.

At Redeemer's, we think it's important to bring the weekend into the week. Because of this, most Life Groups use our Life Group Discussion Questions based on the weekend teaching. These discussion questions are available on Redeemer's website, in the Redeemer's App, and on the back of the paper message notes available at each weekend service. They include Scripture readings and discussion questions designed to encourage personal application of the weekend teaching. Some Life Groups also supplement this curriculum with studies available through RightNow Media.

Joining a Life Group requires a commitment to regularly attend both a weekend service and your Life Group meeting. Since Life Groups discuss and apply the weekend teaching, participating in a weekend service is an important part of the Life Group experience. Life Groups typically meet for 1½–2 hours. Since consistency is key to building strong relationships and meaningful discussion, we ask each person to make attendance a priority. Of course, there will be times members miss due to sickness, work conflicts, special events, or other circumstances. If you can't make it or are going to be late, simply call or text your group leader to let them know.

Life Groups generally follow the school calendar, with built-in breaks around holidays and during the summer. These natural rhythms provide seasons of growth followed by seasons of rest.

Life Groups that currently have openings are listed on the Adult Ministries webpage and in the Redeemer’s App. Please sign up for only one Life Group at a time. If you have any questions, please stop by the Information Center during one of our weekend services or call the church office.

Life Groups meet in a variety of locations on different days and at various times. Some groups are specific to certain life stages, while others include a mix of ages and stages. We encourage you to attend a group for 3–4 weeks before deciding whether it's a good fit. Most groups become more comfortable as you get to know one another. If, after that time, you feel that another group may be a better fit, simply let your group leader know and feel free to join a different group.
