Baptism
Baptism is Jesus’ way for believers to publicly identify with Him. When you trust Jesus as Savior and Lord—believing His death and resurrection make you right with God—you should be baptized. Baptism doesn’t save (Ephesians 2:8–9); it’s a picture of what faith brings: forgiveness of all sin, a new life empowered by the Holy Spirit, and the promise of resurrection. Baptisms are scheduled periodically throughout the year. If you're interested in being baptized, please fill out the form below.
WHY BE BAPTIZED?
Baptism is the way Jesus told us to publicly express faith in Him—unlike any other response. He commanded it (Matthew 28:18–20), and it shows others you follow Jesus (Acts 18:8). In baptism you identify with God’s people, and the local church welcomes you into a family for protection, instruction, growth, and service.
IS BAPTISM FOR ME?
Yes—if you believe Jesus died for your sins and rose again. In the New Testament, believing and baptism went together: people trusted Jesus and were then baptized. There’s no example of baptism before belief or of believers who weren’t baptized (see Acts 2, 8, 16, 18).
IS YOUR CHILD READY FOR BAPTISM?
Children and teens will be scheduled to meet individually with a staff leader who oversees their age group.
