KIDS & STUDENTS COORDINATOR

Help us build and lead our Kids Ministry team!

Working closely with the Kids Ministry Pastor, this position serves as the volunteer coordinator for Kids Ministry by onboarding, training, and overseeing our team of volunteers, coordinates details of Redeemer’s Kids weekend services, and provides administrative support to the Kids and Students department staff. Must be a people-person with excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to lead, a heart for kids and to shepherd volunteers, a natural inclination to have fun and yet be detail-oriented and well organized. 30 hours/week. This position requires weekend work hours (approx. 6-8), with the balance of hours worked in the Redeemer’s office (M-Th, flexible).

ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Help us keep our staff and ministry events on track!

This position provides administrative support for our Executive Team and our staff, as well as oversees our front office functions, supervises front office staff, and recruits and oversees front office volunteers. Includes coordination/management of ministry events by receiving/processing ministry event requests, scheduling/maintaining the master church calendar, serving as liaison between event/ministry leaders and internal resources (facilities, advertising, kitchen, tech, childcare, etc.) to ensure event details have been identified and communicated to the correct individuals. Schedules and oversees the facility request ticket system for the Facilities Director. Helps cover front office phones/reception. Serves as in-house “expert” for church database (training provided), trains new users, assists staff in use. 30 hours/week (M-Th), occasional evening/weekend work may be necessary. Requires supervisory experience, a natural inclination to have fun yet be very detail-oriented and organized, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have good computer/software aptitude with Mac experience.
