Helping children at Redeemer’s make the choice to know God, love God, and grow to become more like Jesus.

Our goal is to share the grace and truth of Christ with pre-schoolers and elementary schoolers in an environment that is geared toward their unique stages of life. We recognize that many students in this age range are able to discover and accept the hope of Christ for the very first time. It is our honor to come alongside parents to help reinforce their efforts toward raising kids who are wholehearted followers of Jesus.

UPCOMING EVENTS

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child is an opportunity to pack a shoebox of small gifts, school supplies, and hygiene items for a needy kid in another part of the world. These shoebox gifts are presented to kids along with the hope of the Gospel message, and they’re even given an opportunity to participate in a discipleship program in a local church. Anyone can pack a shoebox, but this is an especially great opportunity for families to participate together in something meaningful that helps spread the hope of Jesus with the world. We've designated a page of our website with lots info and ideas to make packing a shoebox a memorable event for families. Click HERE to see it all!

DATES:  October 28 through November 12, 2017

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT CHILDREN'S MINISTRY OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT EACH SERVICE?

Children’s Ministry runs classes for preschool through 5th grade at the Saturday 6:30pm and Sunday 9:30am, and 11am services. If you come to the 8:00am service, your children are welcome to sit with you in the main service.

MY CHILD WANTS TO BE BAPTIZED, NOW WHAT?

There is no stated minimum age for baptism at Redeemer’s— we only ask that each child be old enough to actively make the choice to be baptized on his or her own. He/she needs to be old enough to believe the basic message of the Gospel— that Christ’s death and resurrection was enough to make them right with God.

If you need some guidance on how to talk with your child about baptism, read the brochure "How Do I Know My Child Is Ready to Be Baptized?", viewable HERE.

Once you and your child have talked, the final step to signing up for baptism is scheduling a meeting for your child to talk with one of our Children’s Ministry staff. Call the church office at 541.672.0230 and we will direct you further.

HOW DOES SOMEONE GET APPROVED TO SERVE IN CHILDREN'S MINISTRY?

All who serve in our Children’s Ministry will pass through an application and background check process that is designed to help us protect the individual safety of every child in our ministry. Click HERE if you are interested in learning more about serving in Children's Ministry.
